Sembcorp is committed to managing its Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) responsibilities as its first priority. This includes continuously improving our HSSE performance and managing HSSE risks associated with our activities, products and services.

All personnel including contractors are required to attend the in-house
Safety Induction Course (SIC) before they are allowed to enter our workplace unaccompanied. Upon successful completion of the SIC, the personnel will be issued with a SIC pass.

Contractors without the SIC pass are not allowed to work in our workplaces.

About this eSIC

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new digital registration portal for Sembcorp's Jurong Island Safety Induction Course (eSIC).

Through this new portal, all personnel including contractors / vendors will be able to:

  1. Register for courses on their own;
  2. Check real time availability of SIC courses;
  3. Quickly and easily obtain approval for course registration.

This helps to streamline existing processes and keep projects on schedule, while minimising the administrative workload on vendors.
